GetUploadStreamAsync(String, SeekOrigin, Int64, Object)

Returns a Stream for writing data to the remote file.

Parameters
Type Name Description
String remotePath

The path of the remote file.
SeekOrigin origin

Position indicator that is used to obtain new position within the stream.
Int64 offset

A byte offset relative to the origin parameter.
Object state

An optional user-provided object that identifies this particular asynchronous operation.

A Stream for writing data to the remote file.

Remarks

Because the FTP protocol does not support processing multiple commands or transfers at the same time, the stream has to be closed before any other FTP operation can be used.
