Symptoms

Key is weak (Application uses unlicensed code. Check http://rebex.net/infringement/ for info.).

Cause

This exception is thrown by a third party components which illegally use Rebex code. The infringing components were (are) offered under the Safabyte, ComponentForge and XtraComponents brands.

Components affected by this error include:

• NetXtremeFtpSuite
• NetXtremeTelnet
• NetXtremeMail suite
• NetXtremePop3
• NetXtremeImap

• XtraProxy
• XtraScp
• XtraSftp

Solution

• We are running a "Get a genuine component for the price of pirated one" legalization campaign for components stolen from Rebex by Safabyte and by ComponentForge. Remove the error message by replacing the infringing component.
