Some Rebex FTP/SSL users have been kind enough to share their praise of our ftp component with
us -- now, we'd like to share it with you.

Comprehensive FTP Library Is User Friendly.
What I liked best about FTP for .NET was its concise, easy-to-use API.

Thanks man - this library actually works! amazing, :-) worth every penny

After evaluating many FTP libraries for the Compact Framework and being very disappointed we
were contemplating writing our own FTP library, but then we came across Rebex FTP for .NET.
I am glad we decided to give it a try because it proved to be very stable in the tests where others had failed.
We have now been running for a couple of months with no problems.
Thank you Rebex!!!

Writing an FTP component is not a simple exercise.
So, the "simple" solution is to buy an FTP component.
I bought Rebex FTP for .NET.
It is wonderfully simple to use. Download the trial version and see if it provides the functionality you need.

I just want to say a big thank you! It’s not often you come across a component as good as this. It took me 10 minutes to plug it into our C# application and voila, passive FTP connections, excellent communication and error codes / messages when things don’t connect properly via our VPN.
Well done on an excellent product. I’m a software developer of some 18 years and I’m quite sceptical of 3rd party components, however, this FTP library is excellent. Can’t fault it.
I can Highly Recommend it.

The Rebex component was good. I was able to produce the required functionality in 7 lines of code.
Thanks!!!

Intuitive classes, good documentation/samples, excellent support
Purchased Secure Ftp product from another vendor (who also sells Ftp server software)
without testing out trial version. What a mistake! After no response to urgent request
for support via email for several days, I decided to try Rebex trial version in the
application I'd been working on. Rebex ftps classes worked without any problems, uploading/downloading secure and unsecure.
Also used directory listing functionality without problems.
Have purchased their product and can't say enough about them. When was the last time you sent a request
for support and had a reply within the hour. Their documentation is especially useful for
those unfamiliar with all the low level details of ftp/ftps. They inform you which commands may
not be supported by all ftp servers and which methods you should use.

I went for Rebex and I would *highly* recommend it!
I had some trouble connecting to an FTP, someone at Rebex helped me to sort
it out even though it was not a problem with their components. The problem
was that Active mode would not work due to my home router and Passive mode
would not work due to the configuration of the server. Someone has spent a
lot of time over the past two days reading logs to help me to determine the
problem, provide URLs to help to fix them, inspecting code, etc. The
support has been better than anything I have ever experienced!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you all what a fine job you have done with your Secure FTP .NET product.
I have been working on developing a custom application (VB.Net service in Visual Studio 2005) which required a
Secure FTP client component. I have been through 4 different .NET and COM add-ins that did not work through
all phases of my development.
- ComponentA would work when I had the application set up as a standard program but when I incorporated their COM object into my service it did not work. I imagine it was a permissions issue but did not investigate further.
- VendorB's product was straightforward to program and worked wonderfully in my test environment as an application and a service. However, as soon as I put it in production behind a Sonicwall firewall it would not work. While it would connect to the FTP server the program would lock up whenever I tried to get a directory listing on the server. Their support group was meager.
- VendorC’s product didn’t make it out of my development environment. It would fail when I tried to get a directory listing from the server.
- My first look at VendorD’ product gave me the impression it was cumbersome so I did not bother testing it out.
I fought with these other products for almost a week. Once I found your product I went
from download to testing my finished service in my production environment in less than 2 hours.
Your samples were straightforward and I did not run into any quirks or issues during my development process.
Excellent Job!
Shawn A. Prestridge,
I will definitely teach your products to my students.
Your interface to SSL and SFTP is by far and away the most straightforward implementation!
